So, what photo editing software should you use? This is a tricky question, but the good news is, you might have a powerful photo editor right in your phone. No, that is not a typo. You can use your phone to edit photos, and edit them really well I might add. There are many photo editing software that you can buy for your PC or Mac like: Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, iPhoto (or Photos for OS X) etc. But maybe we don't need these programs anymore, we can just use our phones?
Remember when Google bought NIK photo plugins a while back? (This is the software I use in my Photoshop to edit photos) Well, they put that same technology into their Android phones. So you can basically edit the same way on your phone as I do in Photoshop. You would need to transfer your photo from your camera to your phone, but that shouldn't be a problem since cameras are starting to come with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
So play around with your photos in your phone to get the hang of it. If you edit and save your photo, don't worry, your camera should save a new copy in a different folder so you don't destroy the original.
